Recipe: Chinese Eggs

Having Family in China, I was wondering can I make something Chinese with the eggs from my chicken ?

Yes I can !

I remembered the funny tasting and wired looking eggs which i got served for breakfast in Beijing. So here my own recipe:

Take as many eggs you like, boil them hard, break them but do not peel them. Put them in a bowl with Tea, (Chinese one preferred), a dash of Soy Sauce, one Star Anis and boiling water.



Let that mix stand overnight.


In the morning you can peel than the eggs.
The eggs do have a interesting appearance, and they taste great. A hint of the Sauce and tea can be tasted.
