Whats up next ?

After all this sun and posting wise quiet June,
I plan to do the following things, and yes i will blog about them:

Making wine out of flowers
Making wine / beer
Cooking, my favorite recipes and new ones too
Building a BBQ with recycled materials
Baking
Fishing / make Sushi with fresh Mackerel

Lots to do, so lets get started....

Census 2011

The Central Statistics Office published today now the official results of the Census 2011,
which was held in Ireland last April, interesting changes are f.e. Population 4.58 million (Census 2011 Preliminary Results)

Well, I proudly can say, i contributed to that with my lovely daughter born in Cork last year :-)

Research Calls

Interesting, just got a call from that guys:   Behaviour & Attitudes
They do research and stuff, which normally OK for me to answer that calls,
can be however annoying in some situations.

Since i forwarded my private phone to my business phone i answered in Company style the call, the guy told me than he is not allowed to call businesses.
Interesting !

business cards

Just got some free* business cards from moo.com, quiet a good service, considering i payed only 4 Euro shipping cost for 50 color printed cards with QR Code, etc.

Eggs and Chicken Suprise :-)

This last Sunday I finally tasted the first eggs for breakfast and have to say they are delicious. I never ever eat a egg which comes not from my own chicken. (maybe exceptions on holidays)



Its small enough still, as you can see :-)
















One of our chickes Heidi here in the background is pretty clever, she managed to breakout already a few times. Last Sunday she surprised our daughter after bathing.

I reinforced the fence afterwards, and fixed the wholes.

Eggs !

finally, Emer and Gudrun das Huhn did lay eggs, very tiny ones compared to eggs from the shop, just Heidi didnt lay one yet. Still motivational work to be done !

The Internet has stopped

Doesnt matter where I look at, Facebook or to my fellow bloggers here in Ireland. Its silent, yes it actually looks like the internet has stopped.
Only on twitter i see a few live signs from others.
No wonder with this weather in Ireland that the whole nation is outdoors.
Thats where you can find me too the next few days.

Austria-Germany

So,its time again to try to kick ass.


Tonights game would be an other chance for the underdog Austria to show the great team from Germany that we can beat them not only in Ski-downhill, and any other Winter sport.

Soccer, the last win against them is only 23 years ago, so its about time...

lets see...

Little trick ?

A great trick I use when i park somewhere, either in a big parking garage in the city,
or at the airport, is at each level to find the parking space B4 and park there, or close to it.

That way its very easy to remember, where I parked B4 (before) I went on holiday, since i am terrible with numbers, and after 1-2 weeks holidays, who wouldn't forget the number of the parking place ?

Its funny which kind of visitors you get at home if you leave the door open...
that one however took a while to get in, but was kicked out pretty fast, without having a electro shock or so :-)
